Sons of Allen Men's Day 2022

Please join us as we celebrate Men's Day on September 25, 2022. Our morning service will feature Bishop John F. White as our speaker at 10:30 am CDT and our afternoon service will feature Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu speaking at 4:00pm. All events are free and will be held at 1100 Summit street in Elgin, IL. Everyone is invited.
Bishop White is the 130th Elected and Consecrated Bishop of the AME Church. He is the Presiding Bishop of the Fourth Episcopal District and the President of the Council of Bishops.
Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu, a former instructor at United Theological Seminary to pastors working on their doctorates has preached at the Hampton Minister’s Conference and for Urban Ministries. He has also been blessed to preach in hundreds of pulpits nationwide. He has authored over 40 books including national best sellers, Adam Where Are You? Why Most Black Men Don’t Go to Church; Satan: I’m Taklng Back My Health; Developing Strong Male Ministries; What is the Role of Teens in Your Church, and; Faith Nuggets to Live By. Dr. Kunjufu is proud to say that he is a husband, father, and grandfather. He’s grateful for the grace that’s on his life that has enabled him not to have missed giving a sermon in 44 years. He loves the Lord Jesus Christ and is filled with the Holy Spirit.
