Sydnor III, the 20th Editor, The Christian Recorder          The Christian Recorder News Break – Tribute to Emanuel 9 & Sandra Bland at 2016 Texas Democratic State Convention     A tribute during the opening ceremony of the Texas Democratic State Convention on June 17, 2016 was made in remembrance of the first anniversary of the Emanuel 9 and Sandra Bland in San Antonio, Texas.   This moving Mother Emanuel 9 tribute was lead by AME Church representatives former Texas Democratic Party Vice Chair Carl Davis, Dr. Raymond Bryant and Dr. Chris Spellmon.
