Wilberforce University Keep its Accreditation

TCR BREAKING NEWS: The Show-Cause Order placed on Wilberforce University has been lifted, allowing the university to keep its accreditation.
The university was notified Thursday by the governing body of the Higher Learning Commission of its new standards.
The school was placed on watch on June, 2014. A 3,000 page report was submitted by the university on December of 2014, outlining their work to improve its issues on enrollment, infrastructure, and budget.
The HLC Board of Trustees based its decision on the institution’s success of meeting all five of the core components required by the Board.
The university was founded in 1856. |
